I noticed the same pattern the whole time: I’d reach out, wait longer than expected, and then get a reply that didn’t really solve anything. It felt like they were responding just to respond, not actually trying to help. Frustrating overall.

I’ve ordered from notyourmothers a few times now, and overall I think the prices are fair. Compared to a lot of other hair products I’ve tried, nothing feels ridiculously expensive, and the bottles usually last me a decent amount of time. I tend to pick up a couple things when there’s a deal going on. Shipping has been fine for me, and the value is probably the main reason I keep going back. That said, I do sometimes wonder if the quality is as consistent as it could be. Some products work better for me than others, so I’m a little selective with what I reorder. Still, for the price, it’s been simple and mostly worth it.

Grabbed this dry shampoo from notyourmothers.com, and yeah, it does the job. My roots get oily fast, basically next day—and this makes my hair look way less greasy.

Only thing: if I spray too close, I get a bit of white cast. I just rub it in well and it’s fine, but still worth mentioning.
Overall, 4 stars. Good oil control, buys me another wash day, just not totally perfect.

I grabbed some styling products from notyourmothers.com for my wavy hair, i was impressed. The hold is solid without making my hair feel crunchy or stiff, which is more than I can say for some products that act like they’re doing something and then disappear by lunchtime.
Even with the wind outside, my waves stayed mostly in place through the day. I kind of wish I hadn’t waited so long to try it, because it actually does what it says without making a whole production out of it.

In my experience, it feels really soft at first, which I like, but it does get a tiny bit sticky after a while. Not a huge deal for me, just something I noticed.
